EDU 540: Classroom Measurement and Evaluation: Dr. Louise Malcolm
This course on Classroom Measurement and Assessment covered such topics as the importance of measuring our students' progress or how much knowledge and skill they possess before a given course. The course also aimed to provide an understanding of interpreting test data provided by both external examining boards and internal school and classroom tests. As a teacher it is crucial to gather data by measuring my students' knowledge and no doubt the insights gained in this course will be utilized in my work. I can now approach this area of my work with a greater comfort level being more aware of the intricacies of preparing tests and evaluating test results. You may review a Unit Plan I prepared for Social Studies in a Year 6 class according to the National Curriculum of 2008. I prepared sample assessments for three of the lessons in this unit.
