ED 530: Philosophy and Sociology of Education: Dr. Louise Malcolm
In this course we covered what famous philosophers believed and how their philosophies have been aapplied in the field of education. I completed the following research paper on Progressivism as assignment for this course. It was from there that my philosophy of Education was born!
During the second part of the course we covered some very important topics concerning the social issues surrounding youth today and how these issues impact their education. I found this part of the course to be of paramount importance as a teacher because my mind was opened as to the problems some of my students will face and how I can help them learn better.
I completed the following take home exam on the Social Issues faced by Youth Today from which research I gained immense insight.
