EDU 550: Literacy and Numeracy in the Content Area: Dr. Mark Minott
In this course the importance of Literacy and Numeracy across the curriculum was highlighted, as it is of utmost importance to pay attention to these areas outside of Mathematics and Language Arts. The course emphasized that we use literacy and numeracy skills in every faucet of life and we cannot afford for our students to get left behind when there are weaknesses. As teachers we really need to teach these skills in every subject area. This is a Literacy and Numeracy research Paper that I completed in this course.
