EDU 560: Technology in the Classroom: Dr. Mark Minott
This course highlighted the importance of keeping abreast of technological trends as they relate to our work and the the many ways that we can employ the use of technology in our classroom.
This course empowered me and showed me that I can create my own website! There is really no excuse not to use technology and my students would be at a tremendous disadvantage without it. As one of our assignments I formulated my personal perspective on the use of technology in the classroom. I created my own online lesson on ANGEL. Once in ANGEL type in the user name: UCCI000740, password: phoebe and click on "Technology in the Classroom - Spring 2010 (STUDENT E) in order to view the LMS lesson.
I also summarized Chapter 6 of our text by way of a Powerpoint Presentation. In my teaching practice I was able to put theory into practice by employing the use of the Smart Board with each lesson.
